Laura Lee Coles

Interim Festival Coordinator

Laura Lee comes to S&N as the interim festival coordinator. Originally from Los Angeles, California, USA, Laura Lee now resides in Vancouver, B.C.

LL brings to S&N many years of experience in special event planning from sponsorship, volunteer, and media coordination, as well as production management for both stage and festival formats. She has an extensive background as an interdisciplinary artist and is the former owner of a successful theatre group presenting environmental plays for children.

LL currently creates and performs eclectic music and sound environments with her multi-media group Paradigm Shift, featuring local percussionist Navaro Franco, drummer Shawn Killaly and guitarist Leathan Milne.

Soon after arriving in Vancouver, she founded Population of Noise, an artist collective of multi-media artists interested in expressing the message of environmental awareness and activism through community based arts projects.

LL has a degree in Modern Dance/Music and has an extensive background in law as paralegal of complex litigation matters. She is a current and active member of the Screen Actors Guild and a published writer.
