Jeff Langille was born in Thunder Bay, Canada. He holds a BA from Carleton University, and a Bachelor of Education from the University of British Columbia. His work gives concrete form to his response to the urban landscape. His treatment of landscape calls into question not only landscape as a genre, but cinematic conventions for representing time and describing place. Langille currently lives and works in Vancouver BC.
