SIGNAL + NOISE MEDIA ART FESTIVAL 09: CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
Signal + Noise volunteers are artists. Artists who understand what it takes to build a community and a structure for their own productivity. Many hours of sweat equity went into preparing the VIVO facilities for Signal + Noise 2008; from power washing, painting and building walls to trouble shooting installations, answering the phones and bartending. As Signal + Noise 2009 nears, we are once again asking for your help. Signal + Noise runs from April 23-26 and will need volunteers beginning on April 13th. The board and staff of VIVO are deeply grateful for this generosity and good humor. Without you, the festival doesn’t exist. Thank you!
As a volunteer for Signal + Noise you will earn $14 video bucks an hour which you can use toward equipment and facilities rentals at VIVO (with a membership). In addition, for each for 4hour shift work you will receive 1 ticket to a program of your choice. Volunteers who contribute over 12 hours will receive a festival pass.
