Nervous Operator is musician Spencer Davis’ electronic noise project. Using devices from 4‐track recorders, electronic motors and cell phone conversations, Nervous Operator is a reaction to the multiple layers of technological literacy demanded every day. While primarily a guitar player, this incarnation branches away from both composition and traditional instruments, to focus on creating structure out of anxiety produced chaos.

Spencer Davis is a local musician who has played in a variety of capacities, including guitar for the punk band “Fortress” as well as solo guitar under “SP Davis.” He has played many Fake Jazz shows and was a participant in the last VIVO SLAB workshop, lead by Kent and Wenche Tankred.
