Giorgio Magnanensi, teatro dell’udito V (TDU V) | 2011 | 20min | A/V Performance | Canada
Teatro dell’udito V (TDU V) is part of a series of projects that manipulate a range of different sound figures, gestures and ideas. in TDU V Magnanensi feeds sine waves, sawtooth waves, square waves and feedback through a Tektronix dual channel oscilloscope. The forms displayed on the oscilloscope can be considered as a type of visual music that produces an imaginary scenography, or in Magnanensi’s terms, a “theatre for the ears”.
